I'm moving to Metrowest in late August and looking for a place to enroll my 2.5yo daughter. Google search did not appear to be very helpful, and I would appreciate any advice. The place we're at right now is family owned with meals provided 3 times per day, great curriculum, and awesome summer camp, so this change is very stressful to me. Please, what places in the area are worth looking at?

Thanks for your time, everyone!!!

People, come on))) I can't believe that none of you have kids. Have some mercy, I'm trying to figure out which place is good and which is not, and without knowing anyone in that area, it's not an easy process. The first daycare I placed my kid at turned out to be an aweful place, and I'm trying to avoid the same situation.

Discovery Prep on Turkey Lake Rd is pretty good, check with St. Lukes on Apopka-Vineland, Little Fishes Preschool at Presbyterian Church of the Lakes, TLC of Dr. Phillips, I would NOT recommend La Petite in the Metrowest area.

his website has lots of info on preschools in orlando:
Orlando Preschools, FL and Florida Daycare - Savvy Source

You will have to go in and visit each one you are interested in, to get a feel for the environment. I did not need daycare, but I was looking for pre-school for my daughter. Some of the places sound okay until you get there. Call the churches in the area, many have excellent preschools and if they don't, ask them if they can recommend a daycare provider in the area. We used Discovery Prep for a short time until we moved, then we went to Christ the King (no daycare or full time for younger kids) and St. Lukes.

Good luck.
