I am going to be doing home care visits for a contract job in Orlando. I don't know the Orlando area other than of visiting the theme parks. Since my job involves driving to people's houses I'd like to know some zip codes or cities that I should request to stay out of. Or, what are the nice areas (safe areas), zip codes that I should request my territory be in? Thanks!

The problem with just listing zip codes is that they do not tell the whole story....

One poster:
"Good: 32801, 32803, 32806, 32812,......)

Another poster:
"The zip codes in my area i would stay away from are 32807 and 32812"

Additonally, zip codes like 32819 are pretty vast... and while you have Dr. Phillips on one side, you also have Tangelo Park on the other... Two VERY different neighborhoods in the same zip.

But that's why Wilshire said it was an opinion. I could see someone putting my zipcode (32828) in the "good", the "average", and although I wouldnt ever put it as a "bad" zip, sometimes I wonder...

I put 32828 in the average category because there are beautiful parts of Avalon park and Waterford. There is great shopping and it is a decent area overall, but it is very busy and has a lot of aggression and weird crime issues. It is often complained about on this forum so it would not be my first choice. I do not intentionally try to bash an area for no reason.

32812 is a good area, it is actually my zip code. There are decent areas of Belle Isla, Conway and the Dover area in this zip code. There are some gritty areas around Curry Ford/Conway so another may see it as a bad area. This is one reason why I state it is my opinion. I know 32812 links up to some of Orlando's best schools too: Conway Middle, Boone High, etc.

I definitely agree that there are bad parts of zip codes in my good list too because Orlando is spotty. 32819 is a great example, but most of the homes in this zip code are in good areas. Tangelo Park is a pretty small area of a large zip code bisected by the freeway and a lot of retail.
