I'd also like to ask out moderators if we can make this a STICKY thread so anybody thinking of moving here can see what Orlando beyond Disney, and International Drive look like

Can we do this?

Will you do us potential movers a favor? Don't just post all crappy pictures (this is not directed at you) but give us a good mix of the good and bad?

I though you were referring to the quality of the picture, taken with a cell phone cam, sorry

Here's one thats much better quality. This picture was taken at the intersection of East Colonial and Primrose Drive back around Xmas 2007 (hence the xmas tress on the streetlights) This area though good is very old, it appears rundown but its a nice area in general. Colonialtown I believe its called

No, no not critiquing (sp) your cell phone cam skills, just trying to not wind up with all pictures of the "ghetto" as some would refer certain areas to...

'Cause come on, you know it would happen.

Thanks for starting this thread off though

I have over 2,000 pictures of the various cities and neighborhoods that make up the Orlando Metro area.

I will put together some and post.

Okay, probably a dumb question...but when someone says the Greater Orlando Metro area, does that include the smaller town surrounding it like Winter Garden, Oviedo, Clermont, etc.?

Thanks in advance

Yes, people can post pics from Orange, Osceola, Lake, and Seminole Counties if they wish. As these 4 counties are considered the Metro area of Orlando

And to Broker Dave, I'd love to see your pics

Only pics on here that aren't permitted IMO are pics of the attractions. If so many people are thinking of moving here, Disney, SeaWorld, Universal and I-Drive are the LAST things they should see
