Good morning peevers.

Well I have to say that I woke up peeveless but after seeing Pam's thread about daylight saving time I got an idea- hope you don't mind Pam, but seeing as it's the middle of the night where you are I'm sure you understand why I can't actually ask you!

Today's peeve;

Shorter days and longer nights as winter approaches.

Depressing. I hate when it' s dark out by 5 o'clock!! I love when the sun is out til 8 pm in the summertime!!! Gives me more energy... Otherwise I feel like I'm in hibernation mode!!

I agree! This means I'm going to be getting home from school in the dark, which is just...depressing.

It costs us more for utility bills here cause when it gets dark it usually also drops 20 degrees. It's cold here now! It really feels like October-November and it's mid-September.

I usually work from around 3 PM until 9 PM. I could care less if the sun is up or down.
The whole daylight savings thing only means my stomach has to get used to another eating time.

I hate that--15 hours of darkness on Dec. 21 and only 9 of daylight.

Spring is my favorite time of year--the days are getting longer and longer.
