Good morning everyone
Another weekend is here and sure can tell the seasons are changing.

1896 - Dow Jones starts reporting an average of selected industrial stocks
1971 - John Lennon releases his megahit "Imagine"

Imagine - John Lennon - YouTube

Today's Questions:
What’s your favorite:
Saying or quote? I love you.
Decade? The current one.
Comfort food? Chocolate.
Time of the day? Late evening.
Mode of transportation? Walking.
Pastime? Hiking/walking and/or cuddling with a significant other (that is, if I had a S.O. to cuddle with).

Bonus Question:
Would you rather:
Build a sandcastle or a snowman? Snowman!
Ride a bike or take a hike? Take a hike.
Hang in a hammock or sprawl on a chaise lounge? Tough choice. I'll choose the hammock.
Listen to music, read a book or watch TV? Depends entirely on my mood. Sometimes I just like to lose myself in a TV show, to tune out the day's stresses. I love to read, but read (contract documents) all day at my job, so I don't read for pleasure much these days.

Just for Fun:
If you were a cartoon character which one would you be (and why)? Bugs Bunny. He's cool, and I love his attitude. He always comes out on top!

1896 - Dow Jones starts reporting an average of selected industrial stocks Don't remind me of the stock market right now, as my 401(k) balance is shrinking by the minute.
1971 - John Lennon releases his megahit "Imagine" Excellent!

Word of the Day:
imagine /iˈmajən/ Verb

Favourite saying: Don't take any wooden nickels. Decade: The 1970s, just loved all the
crazy fashions and hairdos. I look at photos of myself from then, long brown hair, jacket
with big lapels, flared trousers, platform shoes - what a peach! Comfort food: Cake mmmm.
Time of day: Dawn, like now as I type this! Mode of transport: Plane. Gets me to America
quickly, sure would'nt like to have to sail. Pastime: Playing at this on C-D. Music I like is all
old stuff. Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison. 40 years since John Lennon's Imagine? Where does the
time go. My wife saw the Beatles a few times before they went to America in 1964. Just in
small halls near here. We are not too far from Liverpool, the Beatles used to play all over this
area before they became famous.

Just for Fun:

If you were a cartoon character which one would you be (and why)?
Mark Trail.... Why? you ask?....he's a wanna be Clark Kent without the flying cape who doesn't know when to quit. Thinks he's a game warden but can't come to grips that he's just a lowly reporter. He never gets old (34). Sad to say he deserts his family often to get the "big scoop". I could go on... ok I will. Poor Cherry.. she hardly sees her man, whilst Kelly always goes beyond her limits to be with Mark. She'll never be a Lois Lane. If Mark only knew what was going on now.. Kelly thinks she is going to get the big story by letting Andy free from the pen... Andy has more brains than her at times. I should stop rambling but I can't... go easy Mark, there is more to life than trying to find out who put the gold band on the dumb bird... Now I forgot the question.
