I dont do poker but have done 21 at home, or at a casino. Of course Im nt good at it.
Payphones? Im not sure there are any around here but the nearest one, if we have one nearby, would be probably a half mile away at the convenience store.
Depending on what channel Im watching, our highs today are supposed to hit 49 degrees.
Have a good Tuesday everyone!

I believe there is one at the county jail. One of the boys called us from there. (don't ask) It's less than 10 miles from here. There are also several in places that are frequented by drug dealers north of here. They use them as an office.

When was the last time you used a pay phone?
I would guess it was sometime in the late 80's, BCP (Before Cell Phones)

Sunny and 65 in the Fox River Valley today

Good morning, Kobber, and thanks for another list of great questions!

Today’s Question(s):

Have you been to the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican?

Yes, I have, on a visit to Italy in the summer of 1974.

If yes, how well did it measure up to your expectations?

Oh, it was amazing. I am not a member of that faith, but it was a beautiful place to visit as a sight-seer.

Have you ever attended a concert at the Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco?

Nope; San Francisco is on my list of places I haven't seen and want to visit some day, but I haven't gotten there yet.

Extra Credit Question:

Do you play poker?

Nope, I leave that to the younger kid, a/k/a the Frat Boy.

When was the last time you used a pay phone?

Oh, probably a decade ago.

We're looking for a high today of about 61 degrees in Madison, Wisconsin.

Today’s Question(s):

Have you been to the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican? No

Have you ever attended a concert at the Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco? No

Extra Credit Question:

Do you play poker ? No extra credit for me today. No, I don't play poker.

How confident are you that you do (or could) keep a poker face if you have a great hand of cards? Maybe this is why I don't play. Everyone would know if I had great cards.

Bonus Question:

How far from your house is the nearest pay phone ? No idea. Maybe a gas station would have one. In that case, the nearest one would be 7 miles away.

When was the last time you used a pay phone? The last time I remember was in the late '80s. I had taken my class to Boston & the bus driver got lost on the way home. We stopped so I could call a parent to let the rest know we'd be over an hour late getting home.

Just for Fun:

Cleveland’s highest November temperature was 82 degrees F, recorded on this day in 1950. What’s the expected high temperature in your area for today? It was 27F when I woke up & is expected to reach 47F. Saturday night's snow is melting fast!

Off to my Tuesday 8AM staff meeting. Have a great day!

Today’s Question(s):

Have you been to the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican?

No, but if I still flew it might be a place I'd like to visit.

Have you ever attended a concert at the Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco?

Never been to San Francisco although I've been to California a number of times.

Extra Credit Question:

Do you play poker ?

Sort of.

If yes, where do you usually play ?

I play Bejeweled 3 poker on my PC (no opponent). It's not played with cards. I have played poker in the past, though, with friends.

How confident are you that you do (or could) keep a poker face if you have a great hand of cards?

My non-poker uncontrolled expression is rolling my eyes when someone is saying something inane...or so I've been told. Other than that one, I'm pretty sure I could keep a poker face in a card game.

Bonus Question:

How far from your house is the nearest pay phone ?

No idea. I don't believe I've ever seen one in this town I live in.

When was the last time you used a pay phone?

Has to be more than 10 years ago.

Just for Fun:

Cleveland’s highest November temperature was 82 degrees F, recorded on this day in 1950. What’s the expected high temperature in your area for today?
