Though I write with my left hand, I do many things right handed- mostly out of necessity. I often wonder if I am more left or right... wanting it to be towards the left, but think... hmmm
Well, I think I have the answer! I was using my can opener and it is so awkward! I think I need a left handed one. It just feels off. I don't have problems with sizzors though. Maybe because I always used right handed.
Are you left handed? Do you ever feel you have to use your right hand when it would be so much better with the left?

Not that, however, I eat left, write left, shave and do all other stuff like that left. I throw right-handed, golf right, bowl right, bat right, and a few other things. But, I kick left-footed, bowl left, shoot basketball left-handed.
I'm all over the place when it comes to left or right. I guess that saves one side from wearing out to quickly.
I'm like the $6 million dollar man; when it comes to the power needs I use my right hand, swinging an ax, breaking loose over tightened fasteners, etc. Seems I use my left for the more precise, delicate jobs; writing, scissors. Though many things I can do with both.
I am left-handed, but like many I have adapted over the years so I'm fairly ambidextrous. I eat left-handed and prefer to read magazines back to front, but I play sports and do most everything else right-handed. I can also write legibly with my right hand, although it looks like the handwriting of an eight-year-old. (My husband is also a lefty, but he eats right-handed. )
One other thing I can do, and I don't know if this is related to being left-handed and/or ambidextrous, is that I can read and write upside down and backwards.

I'm a righty but I'm curious about the can opener. Next time I'll try my left hand!

I flip through magazines back to front. I don't recall when or why I started doing that but it could be that I don't want anyone telling me what I should read first.
I too, am a lefty but sometimes get annoyed they make only right handed stuff in many cases! When I worked construction, they only made right handed holsters for drills, so I had to wear mine backwards. Right handed box cutters or slicing tools. Its hard to hold a blade backwards! Right handed only tool pouches. Arrrrgh! Dont they realize there are more left handers in this world?
Right handed...all the way, can't do anything with my left hand except type and even that is difficult
