Are you registered to vote? Yep. If so, about how many elections do you think you’ve voted in? Figuring 2 every other year x 40 years, probably 40 times. Perhaps a couple/few more for special elections. Do you remember what the first election was in which you voted? Helped vote Richard Nixon to the Presidency. What kind of voting machine is used where you live? We have paper ballots on which we have to color in little ovals with a pen. I hate them. Used to have punch ballots, where one used a small stylus to punch a hole in the card. I liked those a lot more. I remember the old machines with the levers!
Bonus Question: When was the last time you needed a bandaid? A couple of days ago. How did you get the boo-boo that required bandaging? I had a blister on one toe from power walking and covered it to give it one day to heal. All better now. I'll be getting another one this eveing when I donate blood.
Extra Credit Question: It’s National Fresh Breath Day! What kind of toothpaste do you use? Crest Cool Mint Gel. Do you use mouthwash? Nope. How many times do you brush your teeth per day (or week, or month)? At least twice a day; often 3x.
Just for Fun: What was the name of your first-grade teacher? When the school year started, it was Miss Nurse (that was her real last name). She got married during the year and became Mrs. Huge (pronounced HYOO-gee [the g pronounced as it is in "gate"]). Did you like him or her? I loved her to pieces. She was very sweet. Who was your best friend in first grade? Sheryl. When was the last time you saw your first grade best friend? 40 years ago this past June. About a year ago, however, I discovered by accident that her brother works in my office! What a small world! He was able to get us connected, and Sheryl and I have exchanged some emails. She lives out of town, so I don't know whether we'll ever see each other face to face again.
