Good morning peevers.

Unless you have been on another planet of late you'll know that the Olympic Games are on. The BBC have major rights to broadcasting this. That's great if you like your sport but I pity those who are either uninterested or disinterested. Even the news programmes are dominated by what's happening there- but at least it is good news rather than the usual doom and gloom.

I guess those in the US will have their lives dominated by something else later this year, which brings me to the POTD, which is;

One story hogging the headlines, to the exclusion of many others.

Oh yeah! Some dont even need to be published to the extent that they do. Grrrrrr! Big deal, a celebrity is getting a divorce....so what?!

Jezer, our programming is pretty much bombarded by the Olympics, I don't mind though. I'm definitely all in for the Misty May and Keri Walsh beach volleyball!!
