Have you ever been to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. ?

If so was it a school trip or family trip ?

Bonus Question:

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last "screw cap" you opened ?

Today in History:
1846 - The famous Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. was established by the United States Congress as an institute of learning. An Englishman, James Smithson, made it possible to create the institution with his generous monetary gift of $500,000; hence, the name, Smithsonian.
1889 - Dan Rylands patents screw cap
1948 - Allen Funt's "Candid Camera" TV debut on ABC
1987 - "A Chorus Line" celebrated its 5,000th performance(opened 1975). It was estimated that 25 million theatre goers had seen the musical since it opened in 1975. An estimated 16.7 million people had seen the show on Broadway, with another 8.3 million taking in the touring production.

Have you ever been to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. ?
No, but I'd like to go there. Those who've been say it's awesome.

Bonus Question:
Who was the last person you said,or wanted to say
"I guess we will have to agree to disagree"
A neighbor a few weeks ago who made a remark I thought was very unkind. I said, I guess we'd better change the subject.
We get along, but some people can be seriously lacking in common sense.

Extra Credit Question:
What was the last "screw cap" you opened ?
Yesterday, a bottled water.

Today in History:
1948 - Allen Funt's "Candid Camera" TV debut on ABC - A fun show.

Spoil Your Dog Day
Don't forget the fleas, too.

in Honor of Smithsonian Day

Have you ever been to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. ?
I have been to the Air & Space Museum.

If so was it a school trip or family trip ?
It was not a school or family trip. When I was working at Baltimore, on my days off, I would go exploring.

Bonus Question:

Who was the last person you said,or wanted to say

"I guess we will have to agree to disagree"
I do not ever recall saying that. But then again it might just be my selective memory kicking in.

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last "screw cap" you opened ?
That would be on a bottle of soda I drank last night.

in Honor of Smithsonian Day

Have you ever been to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. ? Never been

Bonus Question:

Who was the last person you said,or wanted to say

"I guess we will have to agree to disagree" Probably my SIL & most likely something political. Though, with her, it's better to just walk away instead of saying anything.

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last "screw cap" you opened ? Oh, hmmmmm.... I'm sure there must be something, but I can't think of anything right now.

Off with a long list of errands today.....Happy day, all!
