Today's Question(s):
in Honor of Smithsonian Day

Have you ever been to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. ?

Yes

If so was it a school trip or family trip ?

I lived in Washington DC and I worked in Washington DC for two different periods of time in my life. I have been to a few of the Smithsonian Museums on a number of occasions. My favorite was Air and Space but I went to American History most frequently because it was within 2 blocks of my job. We'd go there for lunch or ice cream sundaes. I also also went there on my senior trip when I lived on Long Island. I didn't like Natural History. I almost forgot, in the early 1970s I lived across the street from the National Zoo on Connecticut Ave which is owned by the Smithsonian. The elephants weren't too far in so I used to stop in sometimes on my way home from work just to see them.

Bonus Question:

Who was the last person you said,or wanted to say

"I guess we will have to agree to disagree"

Never say that. Try that in the P&OC forum. You'd be eaten alive.

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last "screw cap" you opened ?

Grape Jelly last night.

Today is:
National Duran Duran Appreciation Day

This must be something they voted for in Congress.

A suburb basher on the Nova Forum. One of those fools who thinks if you say something enough times you make it true. Only his version is if he keeps starting a new thread stating the same opinion over and over sooner or later he'll wear everyone else out and then I guess he thinks he's won. (not really sure exactly what it is he won, though, unless it's the Beating a Dead Horse award. I used to respond to his threads but after the first few I got bored with this tactic so now I just jump in long enough to point out that people disagree and then go on with my life.

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last "screw cap" you opened ?

A bottle of cardamon syrup.
