It's Friday! Yippee! Scroll on down, kids, and check out Today's Tip.

WHICH BLUE JEANS TO BUY?

Here are some points on how to buy blue jeans which will fit, feel and look best on you.

First, choose a wash. You'll look slimmer in jeans that are a dark wash with no fading. If you're thin and you want to look more curvy, try jeans that have faded patches in strategic places, which will give the illusion of curves.

If your jeans get baggy after you've only worn them a few times, purchase a pair that's slightly snug when you try them on in the store. Jeans tend to stretch about 1/4" all around after the first few wears. Don't get them too tight, though - make sure you're able to fit your finger where the waistband meets the hipbone, and also be sure the zipper isn't pulling.

If your tummy is round, go for medium- or high-rise jeans. It looks more flattering when you're covered, plus the extra coverage will help control jiggles.

For more hints on how to find the right jeans, check this out.

I've worn pretty near same size and types jeans all my life. I'm easy! Why doesn't someone make a muffin belt for those with muffin thingies? Beer gives me a little gut muffin.

I've had good luck with Not Your Daughter's Jeans. They fit real women's bodies, and the fabric has some stretch in it.

Remember- it's not your clothes that make your butt look big.

It's your butt that makes your butt look big.

Thanks for the great tip! I don't own a pair of jeans at the moment. I haven't been able to wear them to work and it's usually to hot when I'm off. I will keep the tip in mind when I'm shopping!

I remember back when blue jeans were just blue. That's all you needed to know.
