Welcome to the after-apocolypse party, everyone!!! Glad to see so many of us survived!
(Where the heck is spell check on this thing???)
Just breezed in from my travels. Wow, I'm tired, but had a good time visiting everyone and getting to see my granddaughter, one son and daughter-in-law.
To keep this newsy, here is my personal report from the last week:
1. had a great visit with family and friends.
2. got a free night over in a motel because their water was brown.
3. dumped 3 lbs of loose candy all over the back seat of my car when I tried to rearrange my stocking stuffers, which had been stored in a box. I'll be finding that stuff for 2 years, I reckon.
4. drove successfully for a total of 4 days, returning through rain, wind, snow and fog without incindent.
Anyone else want to "report"?
Are we partying through New Year's Eve?????
Hope so!!!
Glad you got the free night, but I would much rather I got a free night in a motel that had clear water.
That would be nice, in a 4-star hotel, even, but it didn't work out that way!!
I'll take what I get. Didn't know there was a problem until the morning and then it was too late.
O, I did get a free cup of coffee on my first day back. Ordered a cup to go and while I was making a "rest stop" a nice man paid for it, unknown to me. After his little son spilled the beans, (figuratively, of course!!) he even told me he couldn't see how a pretty lady should pay for her own coffee!!! Nice compliment!!!
