Good morning peevers.

I went out early to the monthly breakfast car meet and will hopefully put up one or two of the shots from the event.

Mrs J is of to NYC this afternoon and is wanting to take some English tea with her to give to a colleague there.

I need to go out and get some but there isn't really anything else I need.

My POTD is;

Having to go to the shops for just one or two things.

I typically go to the stores to get a "few" things and end up with a full grocery cart!

Nice pictures.....We go to car meets too.....this is a picture of one of the cars (from the west I guess you would say) we take to meets......this wasn't at the last meet, it was at home when the car was getting a bath.

I'll be doing that myself in an hour or two. When I don't need to pick up a lot of stuff (i.e., heavy load) I just take the pup for a bit longer walk to the store. I do though have to stick to my short-list. There have been times when I've strayed from it and ended up carrying way more than my back appreciated lol

I won't do it! . Someone else can bring it home or we wait till there is more is needed or I have errands to run. Saves a lot of money that way.

I do it, although, when the nearest grocery store is 8-10 miles away I have to think about the gas thing

Good morning, Jezer!

Having to go to the shops for just one or two things.

I often go to the market for one or two things. I go in without cart or basket and by the time I find those two things, my arms are loaded with much more. Wishing Mrs J a safe and happy trip to NYC!

The background is getting my attention. That looks like a renovated fort.

Very nice Corvette!

The background, DK, is a faux building. It's effectively a surround to the courtyard and was built in the early 1800s.

The bad thing about this for me is after you get back home with the few things you went after, you have to go back because the spouse added a new item that she forgot to tell you about. Fortunately, the stores are close.

We have to go to two different places for our pet food and one is the vet for the cats prescription diet. I prefer to do our grocery shopping at one store John calls the third world store. It's cramped and tiny but they have the best produce and prices but not everything we need. Sometimes we have to go to three different places.
