I never had an imaginary friend but I used to talk to my baby doll. As a child,singer-songwriter Neil Diamond had an imaginary friend..hence the song "Shilo".

That is why I said.."I never had an imaginary friend." What I did and still do have are not friends nor are they imaginary.
