Some people’s mug shots can be a little strange and earn the admiration of web users, which apparently
was the case for a man arrested for shooting at a plane parked at a north Phoenix airport.
No one knows why the man fired the shots at the 1953 Grumman HU-16 airplane and he didn’t give any
reasons, but his mug shot might explain a thing or two
The man was charged with aggravated DUI and felony flight, but the upside is he snagged first place in the
Maricopa County Sheriff’s coveted ‘Mugshot of the Day’ contest

I took a shot.. with my camera.. of the actual plane a few months ago, where it was parked. The owner lives in Flagstaff but parks the aircraft at Deer Valley Airport in north Phoenix during the winter months to keep it away from snow.
