Good morning peevers.

Another week and I hope that all are in good spirits.

Just because I set the POTD doesn't mean that I go through the day looking at the negative side of things all the time!

Elizamary came up with an interesting twist on things.

This is what she wrote;

People who always find fault with everything people do and criticize. Yet when you look at their lives they have plenty to work on right in their own personal lives.

So with that in mind the POTD is;

People who need to look at themselves first.

Here's the rascals in the field around sunset on Saturday evening;

This I took five minutes ago through a closed window when I opened the curtains of the study and saw him feeding;

Whenever someone starts badmouthing someone else, my favorite response is to say, "Oh, really? You should hear what he/she says about you!" That always brings them up short.

Hi Chickie!

It's a male pheasant.

The cat, Molly's partner in crime, is Poppy.

Hmmm...your male pheasants look a bit different than those in my area. The ones around here have much more color (reds, dark blues, etc) Guess that's why I didn't recognize the bird in your picture.

As Alice Roosevelt Longworth said, "If you haven't got anything good to say about anybody, come sit next to me."

I don't mind getting a scoop from someone else, but I truly always try never to say anything negative about others. I just think it.

Good peeve. I think some people just find it easier to point fingers at others than take a long look at themselves.
