It's another totally gorgeous morning outside with a faint mist lifting from the field where lots of pheasants are running around.
Miss J's birthday is coming up and she is wanting a particular phone. So her lovely Daddy is wading through all the various plans that are available. It's a minefield and my eyes are glazing over trying to compare all the various offers.
I find the more you comparison shop the better the deals you'll find. And you can play one deal(er) against another for good deals too. Competition is fierce these days.

This is quite true! Hold their feet to the fire for the best deal!
My past experiences have led me to even pay a higher price even for a service as I have been scorched basing my solution with bottom line pricing.
Recently I posted a terrible experience i had with a bottom line price for the repair of a garage door and it cost me dearly way more than if I had gone with a reputable repair person.
Sometimes you get what you pay for.
Obviously if you have an identical product say a refrigerator at xyz store vs. another store most times i would go with the lowest price.
If it seems like a reasonable price I would rather buy it and not even go thru the process of haggling.
I will look at some product reviews, choose what I want, and do my comparison shopping from what I have gathered. I'm not a big believer in driving the extra five miles to save $5. There is comparison shopping for stuff you really need or maybe just desire to have, and then there is shopping for cellphones, etc. which I really hate. The effort I put into it really depends on its importance to me. Good peeve, Jezer.
I like all the information and all the reviews we can find on products today but it does take a long time to do the research. At least I know I will "eventually" get the best price I can
I will say...we have too many choices
Good luck Jezer...wanna help me find a camera, lol?
I hate to shop.....just buy what she wants and move on
I'm with you, buddy. I hate, hate, hate to shop.
With the internet I can compare prices and just go to the place advertising the best deal. Plus some places will match a competitors price if it's lower.
