Good morning peevers.

Remember yesterday's peeve- don't break down on me now!

Well that goes for us as well!

It's about this time of year that the sniffs, sneezes, sore throats and so on raise their ugly heads, just as the fun/busy times are in full swing.

I have a much anticipated event on today and I woke up not feeling too great, though I seem fine now.

Have you ever missed a much looked forward to event, only having to cry off due to being under the weather?

Let us know because the POTD is;

I can't be ill now!

Continuing with the seasonal theme, here are some shots taken at a gorgeous place we were at this time last year where there was a seasonal light sprinkling of snow;

I'd prefer to never be ill Jezer! Great photos of nice scenery! We're learning a lot of English phrases from you. Hope you're not coming down with anything of concern.

What SATX56 said. Those scenes are so appealing. Please stay well, Jez!

I once came down with a really bad cold just before I was due to host a ladies' book group at my house. I wasn't visibly ill yet, but my throat was scratchy, my head ached, and I was overwhelmed by crushing fatigue. It was too late to cancel. Somehow I managed to pull myself together long enough to cook and serve the meal and be a good hostess, but inside my head I was pleading with them, "Go away now! Please leave!"

As soon as the last guest departed and the dishes were washed, I collapsed.

Good peeve!

Great peeve! Being sick is highly annoying! Who has time for that crud? I never have time to be sick, like most people. And there have definitely been those times I had to cancel because I wasn't up to par.

Haha, NO!! Take a remedy as soon you feel first symptoms!
Hope, you were just tired and not sick, and you will feel much better tomorrow.

good morning peevers

This is a picture of SIL and grand kiddos. He graduated from the naval post grad school in MOnterey. The fly home in a couple weeks for good to live on the East coast.

Now the peeve. Oh yeah, wonder why it has to happen now.
That is how I feel about shingles. But you know all I"m going to to is take care of myself and not worry about Christmas. The more I worry the more it aggrevates it. It is what it is. I"m just thankful when the pain diminishes.
Right now it is okay.
Hope you feel better Jez. Take care of yourself and rest. Driving lot so fluids. Where's the chevas Regal. LOL

no rocks.

No time is a good time to feel crappy but it's always more annoying right before an event.

Beautiful pictures, Jezer! I would be very comfortable living there, snow and all

Wow Jez...this fits perfectly....not that I've missed much due to being sick, how did you know I'm so sick right now. Mr. Chickie passed on his cold ailment and me, having a reduced tolerance to ailments, got it. Oh woe is me.

Oh shucks, I just remembered, we missed vacation this year due to my surgery. How could I forget that???!!

At least I have time to get over this current ailment before Christmas. But what about the rest of my shopping?????

Great photos Jez and Elizamary!
