Good morning peevers.

Towards the end of yesterday's thread on drippy containers wit nit mentioned about milk cartons.

I immediately remembered something that I'd seen on TV many years ago and managed to find it on YouTube. Here it is again;

Revolutionary milk carton demonstrated on Austrian TV - YouTube

In the past I have had to demonstrate and use medical equipment, and clearly that idiot forgot the 5 Ps rule, which is Practice Prevents P*ss Poor Performance.

Moving along from that, have you ever had to do something that you are non too happy about and found that you have people watching you?

These days I like to make my mistakes in private and don't generally like an audience if I'm trying something new.

How about you my dear peevers?

Maybe it's not an issue, so let's find out as the POTD is;

People watching you doing something for the first time.

Some more photos taken on my local jaunt at the weekend.

Here is the River Avon valley. As you can see it is difficult to work out the actual river itself;

Down at the local town it is definitely over-spilling!

Good morning to you!
Those pictures are compelling, Jez. Yikes. I'll take my blowing snow any day over that.
I agree that it's awkward at best to have witnesses when trying something new. I think this happens when one is at a new job, and the boss is looking over one's shoulder. Never did like that feeling.

Yikes! way too much water, Jezer. Has it stopped?

as to the peeve: no, I don't like being watched when I 1st try something. Not too crazy about being watched the 2nd time, nor the 3rd.

I'm more of a don't-look-at-me person.

I really hate this, I'd prefer to make my mistakes in private too. Reminds me of the first time I went water skiing, I fell and like a dummy wouldn't let go of the rope so I got pretty beat up. The others I was with were screaming at me to let go of the rope and they all had a good laugh at my expense when it was all over. I haven't been skiing since then!

Good peeve, Jezer. I don't care if it's my first time doing something or the 100th - I hate people standing over my shoulder watching.

I hate people standing over me and watching!

OMG those photos. That's what my yard will look like when all this snow melts!

People watching you doing something for the first time.

That watching is what makes you very nervous and really screw up.

Funny video again Jezer.

People watching you doing something for the first time.

And then the people offer suggestions on how you could do it easier or better.
