One thing that I have been wondering lately is: What do people who do not own a TV do all day? What sorts of things or activities do you guys do with your free time?

I went without a TV for a year once--and this was before the Internet. I went out with friends, talked to family and friends on the phone, read books, wrote stories, and enjoyed the things my city had to offer.

What are peopel? You have an hour and a half to correct your post by using the "Go Advanced" option. I often wonder if no one proof reads what they post. Thread titles with misspellings are irritating when viewed day after day for years.

P.S. Not picking on you but just bringing it to your attention.

Answer to your question is we live real life without constant T.V. viewing.

I went years without a tv, just got one this year and still don't really watch it. The internet provides my entertainment when I need entertainment, otherwise I play with my kid, read books, play with the kitten, spend time with friends. There's nothing good on tv anyway.

I've got T.V.'s we just don't watch them as we used to. Hollywood is in a rapid state of decline and the talent pool is nearly dry. Really not much worth watching.

I haven't had a TV in many years. I can watch many old shows and movies on Youtube. Though ya never know how long some will stay on. Then there is Hulu, though I hate their commercials. People also can use Netflix via the computer. And of course ya can listen to music with the internet. I have pets so they take much of my time. When I feel like it I can play the drums or lift weights.

people who say "i dont have a tv" "i dont watch tv" usually are the same people riding around in those clown cars feeling good about themselves

noone is impressed

if you cant sit for a period of time and enjoy a good show or movie without feeling weird about it then something is wrong with you

One of the very few things I have heard David Letterman say that I thought was funny was on the emmy awards one year when Mr. Rogers was getting the lifetime achievement award or something like that. David said where would kids these days be without Mr. Rogers on TV? They would be outside in the fresh air, exercising! lol
Our TV is on quite a bit but it's mainly for noise. We'll have it on and turn around to see what's going on every now and then.
