How was it...did you learn anything new? yes,,, I got the information I was looking for

It's an excellent book, very insightful.

Not applicable, but very often I just go for it because I'm impatient and tend to be more intuitive than methodical.

Yes, though I didn't expect to.

Yes, I do.

It was more than a year ago.

No, the situation has never come up, but I admire people who do things like that.
