^^What's gonna happen if you get hold of a jar of water and a potato or an avocado seed?
I've got avocado seeds in another container just like that one I used above, wrapped in wet paper towels, with the lid on, on top of the frig. Takes about a month to germinate them like this & easier than in a glass of water... did some a few years ago and they grew to over four feet tall before some kind of disease overtook them.

Darn BY2B .... I'm gonna start planting everything in the fridge. The old lady is gonna kill me. I've already got orange lemon, grapefruit and jalapeno seeds all over the window sill in the kitchen.
She might be planting YOU six feet under if she ever hears you calling her that!

I've grown lots of avocado seeds. But i generally put them in soil. Haven't really tried a potato yet but just about anything else you can name.
It works best if you use " Seed Potatoes " found at your Garden Store or Agriculture Store / co-op. They are designed to take root easier than a " "common tater" like Harry Cary

I'm alive .... We went to see Utopia with the Ggirls and then to Texas Roadhouse to eat. I'm still here.
