Other than pepper, I like to use this Special Seasonings I got from Sylvia's Soul Food restaurant in Harlem (NYC) ... It is a herbal mixture and very versatile in use. I'm too lazy to look up the specific spices.

I LOVE cheese (especially melted) but buttery bread is gross so I really can't get into grilled cheeses.
