Bonus Questions:
What’s the worst thing that happened to you in 2016? My dad died, Oct. 30

What was the best thing that happened to you in 2016? This weekend. We celebrated our 15th anniversary this past Thursday. My wife has been super super down in the dumps because of not being able to do anything because of her back. If she's on her feet more than 10 minutes, her legs get weak. Anyway, I got her out of the house for a few days. Got a nice hotel room in Evansville, In (about 150 miles away) for a couple days and we're heading home tomorrow (Sunday). Whatever she wanted to do, we did it. So, the best thing that happened to me is being able to see a big smile on her face and hear her laugh like she hasn't done in a long time

What do you hope to accomplish in 2017? Make it to 2018? lol

Today’s Questions:
Did you go out New Year's Eve? If so, what did you do, and with whom?
Nope. Quiet night at home.

Are you looking forward to 2017? Why or why not?
Yes, because I'm hoping it will be a better year for everyone who had a rough 2016. This evening I've been looking at a web page about people I went to high school with who have died. That's something to make you appreciate your life. Makes you want to make the most of it.

Bonus Questions:
What’s the worst thing that happened to you in 2016?
Worst thing, I dunno.
-
One of our pets passed away this spring.
-G
eneral stress and difficulties.
-Minor health issues.
Could be worse.

What was the best thing that happened to you in 2016?
-Despite minor issues, everyone is basically healthy.
-We still have a (paid for) roof over our heads, with new shingles as of this spring.
-Got major repairs to my truck this fall.

What do you hope to accomplish in 2017?
Exercise more, get more stuff done.

Just for Fun:
What is the weather like in your region today?
Sunday, chance of rain and fog, may clear off later.

Funny, considering he wrote one of the most cynical books of our times.

Happy 2017!
