Top 40 radio can get very repetitive, but I do miss the old AM stations as they once were. Remember when AM radio was more than talk nonsense and sports? It was fun trying to pick up stations at night from far away.

I never cared for the All you need is love tune. Hearing that over and over would make me want to break something. But at least you had summertime, youth and the beach.

Danny Kaye films. This one, the Court Jester, was from 1956. Do you all recall seeing it? A funny clip with a tongue twister in it. I became a fan of his in my teens, he made some funny great films. Nothing like today. Smut has taken over.

Do ya all remember your old phone numbers from when you were a kid? And they were like this, PA 2-1714. I wish I did recall all the old phone numbers from the different places we lived. Or how about the house numbers and streets from when you were very little?

I remember some phone numbers, they started with something like RI for riverside, HI for hickory, then
the rest were numbers...later all numbers were used. I remember the addresses I lived at while young,
there were only a few.
