As a child did you sleep with a light on? Did you worry about spooky things under the bed or in the closet? I did not sleep with the light on but my sister did. My mother and my grandmother, in an example of questionable parenting/grandparenting took us to a matinee to see Psycho when it first came out. I was 9 and my sister was 5. My boogieman had blonde hair and a crewcut with black glasses and was in the basement. I described him in detail but he looked like a sketch artist drawing so I'm guessing now he was in a sketch artist drawing I saw on some TV show.

Do you get along now? - Outstanding but not until fairly recently. My theory on that is he appreciated my expert advice and my compassion for what was for him a very costly divorce.
Mine was also costly but paled in comparison. SMH. This is a reason why my trust level is so low.

He and I fought sometimes the way all siblings do, but we loved each other. After our parents' divorce, he and I were latchkey kids. He told me on his deathbed that he'd always felt responsible for looking after me. He died at 45 due to alcoholism. I also have two younger stepsisters and a stepbrother who came into my life when my father remarried. We all get along pretty well.

For those of you with siblings....did you get along as children? Do you get along now? As kids, my brother and I got along pretty well except when he hit me in the head with a hoe and set me on fire. Two separate instances lol. Both were accidents *wink wink* but yeah we did alright. We get along now but we are not close like we used to be. There is a reason, someday I hope to get it resolved. I am 16 years older than my sister so I didn't grow up with her.

I did worry about things that go bang in the night like just a few minutes ago. My motion sensor went off and then I heard a thud.
It scared me as usual, so I pulled up the camera and it was a sweet kitty that had jumped up on my banister and then jumped down. She came right up to the camera. I think she's homeless but she did come to me eventually. She even came in the door and then froze when she saw my cat. It was uneventful, which gives me hope that my rotten kitty will make a new friend.
Did you go to sleepovers with friends? Yes a few times. I didn't have many friends in either state because I went back and forth so much. My mother didn't want me going to sleepovers so I'm surprised I got to go.

I froze to death in the winter, burned up in the summer and the accelerator cable was always breaking. Fun times.
