Actually the phones don't go out, the electricity does. In the 70's phones didn't require electricity to work. That's why our main phone is plugged into a battery backup unit. We still have a Princess phone so even if the main one isn't working we can plug in the Princess and call.

Of course we still have our cell phones...

Since I can still listen to the music...I'd have to say besides my age...I MISS guys with LONG HAIR.
As the Cowsills song goes "Give me a head with hair; long beautiful hair" LOL just cannot help myself on that. I used to watch the guys with afros walking down the school halls. The longer the fro the cooler it looked.

Actually I have noticed some "things" lately that are from the 70's again...
Peace signs (I love them)...earrings, shirts, stickers, etc...
Some of the womans tops, like peasant tops and tie dye tanks...
Leather sandles and big sunglasses too.
All the "Kids" are liking them, but do they realize it's from the 70's... lol

Weighing 180 lbs and being built like a brick sh*t house for starters.

How about endless energy? A cast iron stomach? Hair so thick I finally gave up on combs and switched permanently to a brush? A nice rear wheel drive car that would leave a goodly portion of the tires on the road if I wanted it to? Drive in movies?

Wish I had a good picture of my nephew. When he came to a point in life where he could choose he has had hair almost to his waist. He's in his mid thirties now.

Long, thick, black hair. I am jealous as I am (according to some) too old to have it.

Yeah, well, I'm retiring and guess what? HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But it's no longer dark....
