Valentine's Day is my favorite! It's my birthday! My dad said I was supposed to be a Christmas present! He said I've been running late ever since! lol
My wife doesn't like getting flowers. Her feelings is why give somebody something that will die? I try to find her a potted plant she can put outside when it warms up but that's hard to locate around here.
I get her a nice card and a teddy bear. I get her a teddy bear for just about any holiday. And we'll go out and eat. That's all she wants. And all I want is for her to be happy.
Location: Finally made it to Florida and lovin' every minute!

We just do a card. Well, 2 cards, actually.
My anniversary w/my first hubby was 2/16, so we always saved the celebration for the 16th and I got out of the Valentine's Day habit. That's ok. I don't understand spending way too much $$ on flowers just because it's V-Day or going out to a crowded restaurant for dinner. So we exchange cards, that's it.
We don't do Valentines Day. And all of hubby's friends want to rent me just for that day.
As it is, hubby will be working and I'll be a my niece and nephew's ice skating competition all day. That evening we're meeting up with friends at a local cigar bar.

Yes, I can understand why!
