My toilet paper stands on it's side on a small shelf next to the throne. No roll hanger for me. My paper towel roll does the same in the kitchen. No roll hanger for me.

I am with Rance on this. Such paper products are not an expression of fashion as much as utility. Both mine stand on their side.

We go through the stuff so fast, there's no sense in hanging it. Plus we keep all the extras in a basket by "the throne".

In the bathroom, our T.P. rolls towards you. But the paper towels in the kitchen are upright.
