Hey Lacey remember that crazy/psycho poster we had here that kept changing their screen name for every lie they told and even went to the lenghths of pretending to be a turkey hunter with a dead turkey strapped on her back and showed a picture with the face blurred? There were so many classic lies from that poster.
Lies and deceit catch up after a while.
People, who when caught in deceit, spin tales to place the blame elsewhere. (ex. John "Love Lips" Edwards, Tiger Woods)
"Oh what a wicked web we weave, when we practice to deceive".
Anyone who practices deceit will eventually get caught, because the truth will always be clearer than lies. It's always easier to remember the truth rather than a distorted version of it.
If I do something wrong, I am man enough to admit it, without distorting it, putting any spins on it, or blaming somebody else for it.
While I don't admire this quality in people, I have to admit that I do have a grudging admiration for people who can think up such elaborate excuses on the spur of the moment to excuse their behavior. (Obviously, it's something I cannot do.)
Reminds me of Adam. When God asked him why he ate the forbidden fruit....Adam replied "It was the wife YOU gave me who gave it to me to eat!"...........we haven't wanted to take responsibility for our own choices ever since.
You are going to reap what you sow sooner or later. Some people seem to have more teflon coating than others.
