just read a few articles about Billy Ray saying he did not discipline his kids and felt it was better to be their friend and how very much he now regrets that mistake. That is something many of us on this forum have been saying for a long time. Your kids don't want you to be their friends. They want parents.
He also says Hannah Montana destroyed his family and how worried he is about the choices Miley has made and who she is being influenced by. He would give up all that Hannah stuff just to have his life and family normal.

Indeed. When it comes to failure in accepting personal responsibility Miley didn't fall far from the tree. The fact that LE and CPS does not hold the parents of these child stars to the same level of accountability they would any other parent doesn't help either.
