Great weather here today. Sunny. Going to be in the 80's.

I'd love to be able to order Chinese. I'd love to be able to have good Chinese. This state has a distressing lack of Chinese places. (I don't count Panda Express as good Chinese.)

it is cool and gray here. It puts me in a bad mood. This is the only time of year that the weather is consistently better where I used to live than it is here. I want to be able to put the kids in cute spring Easter outfits, but it might snow tonight!

We got quite a bit of snow this morning. Very depressing. I want to sit out on my deck with some sort of yummy cocktail in my hand in the afternoon, in the warm sun... but guess that won't be happening.

It's supposed to be 90's here tomorrow. I'm going to have to run out and get something other than chocolate eggs for our Spherical Orb hunt tomorrow. Last year was hot too, and each and every egg was a molten glob.

My six-year-old niece loves Lady Gaga. You know that singing game for the Wii or Playstation or something? My sister has that, and when we went over for my sister's birthday my niece wanted to play it. They made her play the Lady Gaga songs with the video turned off.

last year and this year the Easter bunny fills plastic eggs with legos. They last longer and are better for you than candy. I did get some chocolate eggs, but I try not to go overboard. We colored eggs, but I don't like to leave them sitting out all night, so we don't hide those.

Hey all! Just popping in quick while I have the house to myself for a few minutes. Got most everything done for dinner tomorrow that I can today...Because the girls all have to head back up to school tomorrow afternoon we'll have an early dinner....Getting ready to put my feet up for a bit.....We'll head to church tonight. I have to say I've never heard of paying for or reserving seats at church.....

Kind of cold and windy here. We've had a few flurries off and on but nothing much else. Doesn't feel too Eastery out. I too was hoping for nicer weather this weekend. Sitting out on the deck tomorrow morning with a mimosa would have been pleasant...

That's not necessarily a Southern thing. It may be more common in the South, where there are large numbers of megachurch Evangelicals, but it's not the norm for all churches, or even, IME, most.

We've never managed bunny-egg hunts outside in Florida. Too hot for chocolate, and the ants find the eggs before the kids do.
