DD8 has been begging to go see Gaga live, but....hell no. You'd have to be pretty naive not to know it's going to be very provocative. I am jealous though Ohio, I'd like to see her.

That sounds like a hoot! Did you dress up? Does she put on a different outfit for each song? Guess that would be time consuming if she did....

Glad you had a good time, Ohio. I wouldn't mind seeing her myself just for the experience of it.

Everyone's gone off for a long ride today. I woke up sneezing so I'm not going anywhere near a horse or dust. We put shelving in one closet so I'll probably spend a "fun" day moving things around and filling it up.

Think I was about 11 for my first concert: surf bands at the Convention Center. They had some great bands play there, it was close and safe and my parents were cool enough to provide the transportation so I went to a lot of concerts. Even saw Elvis there. Twice. (Ohio, Elvis is this old Rocker who got fat. <<wink>> He wore a lot of scarves.)

Still having a seriously crap week. I am not a Debbie-downer by nature, but I am done with this now. The dog is in emergency surgery after hemorrhaging this morning. This of course happened during breakfast where we had 3 extra kids following a sleepover. Not looking good for the dog, we are entering the "how much is too much, how far is too far" stage. Sucks! And then my best friend since we were 12 phoned this morning to say his partner of 15 years died unexpectedly last night.

I need good karma.

Yeah I think 8 would be too young. They are playing her concert on HBO on May 7th so if ya wanna watch it, it's on then! She's great live. It's very theatrical. She's like a doll sized person lol.

She changed outfits a lot. Sometimes during a song. Someone through a skirt on stage that they had made of pictures of her and she put it on and wore it during the "Born this way" instrumental she play on her piano. She also sang happy birthday to someone in the audience.

The place I saw her at was a Hockey Stadium so there where very few bad seats seeing it was much smaller than say Madison Square Garden. I wore a Point shoulder blazer with leather sleeves and big high heels. I would of worn more but I had to change quickly and I would of had to wear it on the train ride lol.

Lots of girls had diet coke cans in their hair like the video for "telephone" or that bow made of hair thing.

Best song was Bad Romance by far. But I also liked the Alejandro performance since it had an electric violin.

This was from the Stockholm show. Doesn't she look like a Christmas ornament?

Uh... no. In a Mormon temple, men sit on one side of the room and women sit on the other. There is no assigned seating other than that. In a regular Mormon worship service (a Sunday service in a church, which is open to the public) there is no assigned seating at all. Mostly, people just sit as families wherever they want to. (I wonder where you got that idea?)

I have friends who attend temple in Seattle, they are assigned a time and seating. Logistics perhaps?
