I've always felt for the most part people do this. It's just the bad ones that get all the press. Sadly every generation goes thru this.
With my son, and all of his cousins not a one of them ever got in trouble with anything and are truly a joy to be around. We like their friends too.

So many kids do things like this. I've worked in so many schools in which things like this happened on a regular basis. It's silly to me that doing something nice becomes newsworthy as if it's some kind of aberration.

The reason it needs to be news is that so many people believe that kids are getting worse nowadays. I know many nice kids and when something like this happens, we need to know about it to counter the horrible press teens get.
