I am sitting here eating at a Whole Foods and a little boy was running around touching everything in the cafe area and when the father went to use the water dispenser, the kid wanted to push the nozzle and then the father asked him if he knew how to do it and then turned his back and walked towards a table.
You'll NEVER guess what the kid did! He played around with the water handle! Total shocker! Never saw it coming! He pushed two of the handles at the same time with water pouring down.
Another patron saw this and looked at me with an alarmed look. I took off my headphones, about to alert the father and then he came back.
WTF?! The kid was about five, I would say. He seemed a bit ADHD because he had to have his hands on everything and was running amok. I have seen kids putting their grubby little paws into the bulk bins, on samples...
The parents are obviously responsible for all this and not the child. So I would have spoken to the dad if he hadn't seen it in time.
Any thoughts on this?
Probably an exhausted Dad. The kid could very well be ADHD, or just high energy.
Let me guess...you are not a parent, but love giving parenting advice. Am I right?
And while you are at it, check yourself into therapy and control your pathetic obsession. I'd rather take a bratty 4 year old over a grown woman (man? woman?) who posts creepy things about other people's children and feels the world actually wants to hear her complaints. A kid is a kid, what is your excuse for your rude behaviour?

Well, the OP is now "not a member"...surprise...
I'm sure she'll be back with a new and interesting name in the next day or so. What's it up to now? 5 or 6? Something like that.

I'm sitting here trying to think of a child that has ruined my time in a restaurant/cafe, and I can't think of any. I go out to eat a lot, so maybe I'm just lucky? Or maybe (and I think this is really the case) you are being overly judgmental over every child who is not (in your eyes) perfect. Any child who doesn't go by your philosophy of Children should be seen and not heard, is just a nightmare. Toddlers and young children have a lot of energy, they are naturally curious about the world around them and are going to make noises. If you can't deal with being around children, maybe you should start seeking out places that are adult only (your house, a bar... ).
The child could be special needs. The dad could have just been distracted a moment. He could have been up all night. He could have just had an epic, terrible fight with mom. Take a walk in his shoes. Does anyone have empathy anymore? Even if he pulled a whole aisle over, well, sometimes things happen. COME ON. Big deal.
