This is sad, but if I were you, I would not want to let him know that the child is not his. My cousin married an abusive man and she already had a child before she married him. He beat this child a lot because it reminded him that his wife had slept with another man before she married him. This child took the brunt of the abuse until she finally ended up with her grandmother. She used to hide in a closet when her dad got angry.

OP, do you really think your ex girlfriend is going to tell her husband that the child is yours ? He's a violent man. What do you think he might do when he finds out that his wife had an affair and is pregnant by another man during their short separation ? I don't see this as going well.

What do you think he is going to do to the child if the the child lives with them. Again, an angry man who may well take out his resentment and anger on the child. Every time this unstable man looks at the child he will be reminded of his wife's infidelity. Not good.

What a disaster for the baby. OP, if you want to be 100% involved in the baby's life, the best thing you could do is to try to get full custody. That's the only way to keep the baby safe.
I agree. What a disaster for the baby, and everyone else involved.
