Should we be worried that my son is worried about a keylogger? (parents, activity)

He probably knows and suspects that you are the type that would spy on him. WHAT TO DO? Leave the dang boy alone.
All boys search for porn. All boys will go on websites and flirt with girls (or other guys if they're gay - whatever). Don't talk to him. Don't punish him or suspect that he'll turn into a gangster thugging coke head. He won't. Give him some privacy.
If he is under 16, you could put parental controls on to block most porn sites/illegal sites. But don't put a keylogger on or talk to him.
Its not like you've never looked up porn either.. sheesh. And I'm 99% sure that's what he is concerned about. He doesn't want you or mom knowing what kind of porn he looks at.
IF YOU DO TALK TO HIM ABOUT THIS: he will only put his guard up against you and mom even more. In essence, you'll push him away and make him feel MORE of a need to hide himself from you two. Let him explore his developing feelings and leave him be.
My son and I sometimes use the same pc. I was typing "how do i know" into google & it suggested the recent search done by him: "how do i know if there is a keylogger on my pc".
He is 15 and has been a good kid but this made me nervous.
And BTW, no, I haven't put a keylogger on his PC.
Do you think my wife and I should be worried? What to do? (I haven't told her yet since she is a huge worrier!)
Thanks,
Laz
No great mystery here. He doesn't want you to know what he's typing into the computer. Welcome to parenting teens!
It doesn't always work. I wouldn't be worried, he is likely worried you are snooping on him is all.
..and you are, so he is not so dumb!
