I agree. Plus someone previously linked to an account from a neutral third party who was there, who confirmed the mother's version. The child was not screaming - she was fussing mildly due to the long wait. Heck, I know adults who probably would have been whining if they had to wait that long for pancakes at a diner!

I don't think there is enough to know exactly what happened in the restaurant that morning. Clearly her response to the woman's negative review was out of line. Which makes it easier for me to believe her actions might have been as well.
