Seeking professional counselor (ideas, child, adult, family)

Hello all,

I'm a ('step') Dad looking for someone with whom to conduct counseling/therapy sessions, looking for better ways to deal with a troubled 'adult child' in our family.

We're within the East Coast USA time zone, but apart from that, I think the chosen professional can be pretty much anywhere. If you have a lead, please let me know. I am guessing that it may confer an advantage for the person to be male, but I'm open to all/any ideas.
