He probably just doesn't know any better. Heck, I have vivid memories of my dad doing things like that to me. I loved it as a little kid, though now as an adult I'd cringe to see it.

I just clicked on the link and it said its removed by uploader.

EDITED TO ADD:

Ok, I put it in on google and many places say it is a fake video that caused a stir on the internet. Also, it said that it was a doll used and the video was spliced. The baby was real at the beginning and end...blah blah. People do crazy things to get Internet fame.

The original link I still couldn't get to work.

I found it...that is beyond disturbing. Gawd if that was my husband, his nards would be hanging out of his mouth by now (from me kicking them!). How disgusting. That baby needs to be removed from that father's care...like yesterday.

My daughters both had "nursemaid's elbow" and their elbows would come out of joint from VERY LITTLE pressure. Of course, we found this out the hard way, by picking them up by the hands or playing (THE FIRST TIME). Something as little as holding their hand and pushing up their sleeves at one time would dislocate it. OMG you would never know now that the 11 year old is a MMA Kickboxer and has NEVER had any problems with it. I do know better now and I try to inform people. They look at you like you have grown a second head though.

I can't see the video but I wanted to mention that I had my shoulder dislocated when a family friend swung me around by my arms. I was laughing and having fun, so it wasn't an abusive thing. Oh, and my mom's a registered nurse and didn't see the harm at the time. That was in 1960, when I was almost 2.

ETA: Just found a news clip with the video. OMG. That's awful. That's beyond anything I could imagine a sane person doing to such a young baby.

I am not able to see the video, but after reading some of the posts I know what it's about. My dad use to swing my by my hands/wrists around and TWICE my elbow popped out when I was little. YA, be careful with your kids! Theyre fragile!
