I'd say I only spend about ten bucks a week on my two kids. They are relatively cheap, you just have to portion their food correctly and when it comes time for fields trips they are **** outta luck.
My oldest works and buys all her own stuff, clothes, makeup etc. Anything to do with school we will pay.
My youngest is a lot like me and does not like to shop, she is fine with her sisters hand me downs cause it frees her up from having to shop and gives her more time for sports. Which we pay for. Big ticket items they get at Christmas.
Both my husband and I make good money but we tend to do things that do not cost a lot of money, because to us it is more fun to come up with activities that don't cost to much. We like to put our money towards more important things, other than clothes and accessories. I believe it has something to do with how we were raised.
They cost alot of course. They don't spend much as they aren't old enough to work yet.
