Good reach? The stupid woman lied about the kid's paternity and gleefully took his money. Yup, that's fraud.
But I know you're one of those rabid parents who would look the other way "for the children."
To help you out (dictionary . com) You should get one, by the way. Fraud:
1. deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage. 2. a particular instance of such deceit or trickery: mail fraud; election frauds. 3. any deception, trickery, or humbug: That diet book is a fraud and a waste of time. 4. a person who makes deceitful pretenses; sham; poseur.
Once i was sitting in family court with a friend and the father of a new born baby and the mother had a brief relationship and things went downhill when she became pregnant. He was trying to get joint custody but the judge told him he could have 9 hrs a week with the child. The judge stated that they would re-evaluate everything in a year. I guess that pissed him off cause he told the judge he would pay child support but didnt want to ever see the child. He even had a 3 yr restraining order on the mother. I just sat their astounded. I heard the father say he hadnt never even seen the child The kids always get the short end of the stick.

If a woman lies about who the father of her baby is should be considered fraud. She should tell him the possibility of the baby not being his.
People need to stop having babies out of wedlock. Our society's morals are going out the window. Where are everyone's values? There are too many single parents out there and combined families. It seems to becoming the norm.
