Have her arrested the next time she uses drugs in your house or better yet make that a warning to her that this will happen if I notice one bit of drugs on your person. Tell her you know what she is up to that you are just using me ,otherwise you would be on the streets penniless. Tough love is the part of the answer .

Yea that's why I told him to do his research. There are treatment centers in Canada, Mexico, Amsterdam and other places if you have the money to fly and stay there. If he wants his daughter back, he's needs to watch the video and take notes. The father in the video I posted got his daughter off crack using ibogaine.

She doesn't need a lease. She is an invited guest in her parent's home who now refuses to leave. The daughter will have to be evicted the legal way.

one day she will have to grow up, and one day you will have to finally act as a parent should.

If you really dont know what needs to be done in respect to your daughter, your County should have Health and Human Services department to where you can get parenting advise and instruction...because your daughter wil never grow until you do...you are in a stagnate stalemate in your lives and you are going to have to change before the she follows.
EXACTLY!! What people fail to do as parents only becomes problems for everybody else. When you just DUMP off your child like everybody is suggesting parents don't realize/or care that your really dumping off the problem to the surrounding community. Cops need to be looking for pedophiles and stopping crime not babysitting for Mr. and Mrs. Jones

It's just sad, a child grows up to be a doctor and the parents talk all about it until your blue in the face, but when children grow up taking turns that are not favorable parents are quick to disown and abandon there own offspring. Geez, animals have a better track record in taking care of there own offspring.

Actually, animals are the hardest on their offspring. Once they reach maturity they kick them out of the nest or den and seldom have contact ever again.

After all her daughter is 31 YO adult and no longer a child. The daughter should assume adult responsibilities.

I understand the point you're trying to make, but for one, at least animals teach their offspring how to hunt and take care of themselves. Many, MANY humans don't even get past this first step despite our advanced communicating capabilities.

As far as 31, it's only a numerical number, different people develop at different rates. Furthermore, here in America, children are pushed to grow up too fast and every parent wants there child to be some kind of child prodigy; this is why at the ripe ole age of 30 Americans think that's old, when in fact, you have just entered the prime physical years of your life (28-35).

Is this true even if she is asked to leave? How does one 'break' an oral contract?

If nothing is in her name (util etc) she has no proof. You don't need to go to court for
this.
File a police report for the stolen property to CYA. Any police action on a property is the legal doorway to automatic eviction.

I agree though on the therapy. You don't get well when you are using. I would offer her a rehab option at a halfway house. Maybe someone's crappy life story will help her wise up to stop being a mess around.
If she has mail with her name and moms address, I believe this is enough proof she lives their.

Buy some new locks for the door(s). Next time she leaves...toss any and all of her belongings out the front door and change the locks. Post a note on the front door explaining how she is no longer welcome to stay there.
