So I have a long weekend coming up and my wife and I would like to just "get away", perhaps somewhere scenic and out of the way in Western Pennsylvania. We live in Ohio but would like to get out of the state without spending a ton of time driving, and I have a feeling like there are a lot of nice places in Pennsylvania that I have yet to explore. Anyone have any suggestions of places or areas I should be looking at? I'd appreciate any input you could provide!

Parker Dam SP (close to I-80) has beautifully restored historic cabins to stay at.

Wester farms just south of Jamestown has two cabins next to a dairy farm. Its clean, quiet and comfortable and run as a bed and breakfast and reasonably priced.

The Cook Forest / Clear Creek State Park area has tons of cabins. You can find everything from rustic places to high-end joints with hot tubs and fireplaces.

For rustic cabins I recommend MacBeth's in Cook Forest:

MacBeths Cabins in Cook Forest State Park Pennsylvania

For nicer cabins I suggest Campers Paradise or Black Bear Cabins:
