Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delco, etc counties? I've always found it strange given how densely populated that area is. I was hoping to find discussion on the four missing young men from Bucks county, but it's not the first time I've thought it odd nothing existed from the Philly burbs area.

The Philadelphia forum includes the collar counties, just like the Pittsburgh forum encompasses Greater Pittsburgh.

If anything there should a sub-forum for Northwestern PA/Erie.

SE Pa: Berks, Lancaster, Schuylkill, Montgomery, Chester, Lebanon, Lehigh. But that forum if created would probably overshadow ones like NE Pa and drain Philadelphia posts away.

I agree and also think they should have a sub-forum for north central PA (State College, Williamsport, DuBois area. We seem to lump them in with NEPA; but they are a different bunch than our group in NEPA - more hunting/farming and the large State College younger crowd.

I was going to say the same thing. Erie is the 4th largest city in the state, 110 miles north of the city limits of Pittsburgh, 50 more than Allentown is from Philly. With sub forums for Scranton/Wilkes Barre, Harrisburg and the Lehigh Valley it would be logical. Philadelphia and the metro counties - Delaware, Chester, Montgomery and Bucks - are the SEPA region which is what the Philadelphia sub forum is for.

I agree about the north central subforum although don't know how many people would post on it.

I would read and post more if there was. I was born and raised in NW Pa and visit several times a year. Hoping to move back soon, too. Always enjoy the few tidbits of info I read here!

I try to keep as many people updated on the "Erie development thread" as I can but it would be nice to have a separate sub-forum for our corner of the state, which has more in common with NE Ohio and western NY than the rest of PA. lol
