Are those all state-sponsored schools? I'm partial to Susquehanna University because it's in Selinsgrove, it's a beautiful campus, offers wonderful classes, is always expanding and upgrading, does a lot for the community, is celebrating their 150th anniversary this year, and I used to work there. I'm sure there are other reasons to love SU. One thing I don't love about them is their cost. For a year of room, board and tuition you're looking at $40,000 or more. YIKES!!

Clarion, wife and I both graduates. Slippery Rock a close second, oldest daughter a graduate. In my opinion, since I've lived in MD almost as long as PA, is that PA public colleges are way, way, way better than MD, and I have a kid at UMDCP and another one at Towson right now.

Why isn't Pitt-main campus not on the list along with Penn State?

It looks as though the choices, with the exception of IUP, are all about the same student population. Pitt and Penn State-Main are both way bigger. That may be the comparison.

Whoops, just noticed Penn State.

I'm not voting, because my choice isn't on there.

University of Pittsburgh, Main Campus

Hail to Pitt!

Lots of state schools missing! Edinboro, Kutztown, West Chester, Millersville, Shippensburg, Bloomsburg, California, and Cheyney. The kids around here tend to go to Kutztown, Millersville or Bloomsburg. My kids chose out of state....
