Does anyone know of any subdivisions/developments where you can build in these counties? (Lackawanna, Monroe, Wayne & Pike) I've looked all over on line and have only found a few. Most builder websites just give 'areas' that they build in...and if they do happen to list a subdivision, they don't give directions. That works well if you are familiar with the area, but I'm from Indiana and need a little more specific information. Help. ;o(

Subdivisions Galore
There is an overabundance of housing developments in NEPA; finding one that will be a "perfect fit" for you will not be a problem.
I'll list some here for you, but it would be
very helpful if you'd give me a few more details about what you're looking for (average lot sizes, price ranges, availability of lake rights, school districts, where you'll be commuting to for work, etc.) Here's a very small sampling for now until you provide me with a few more answers so I can better help you!
Pike County :
Blue Heron Woods : Located in Blooming Grove, Lackawaxen, and Palmyra Townships along scenic U.S. Route 6, about two miles from Lake Wallenpaupack. 600 Acres, 150 lots, average size of 4 acres per lot with ranges from 2-12 acres.

Summit Woods : Located in Roaring Brook Township, a suburb of Scranton and part of the sought-after North Pocono School District. 750 Acres.

Glenmaura : Located in Moosic, just south of Downtown Scranton. This massive, upscale community on Montage Mountain is located between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre and near to all of the new sprawling growth in Moosic (Shoppes @ Montage Lifestyle Center, Cinemark Theater, PNC Field, Glenmaura Country Club, restaurants, MetLife, CIGNA HealthCare, Prudential Financial, WNEP-TV, Bank of America, Cold Stone Creamery, upcoming Lowe's Home Improvement and Target, etc.) Home prices here are quite steep, and the community is arguably one of the most affluent in all of PA outside of the Philadelphia suburbs. A home was (is?) on the market here for $4,900,000.
