I didn't know Philly was in Central Pennsylvania. I'm absolutely floored.

Oh, boy. I think you and Chelsea need to get together. Preferably in a remedial reading and spelling program.

They moved it?

Good. The drive to visit my mom in Erie and family and friends in Ohio will be much shorter now.

Absolutely not.

But you should be aware it's a college town. Outside of that it's mostly rural and senior citizens. Even the town, outside of the college kids, is mostly seniors.

YIKES!

Either you have really bad luck or a really bad perspective on the area. Harrisburg has some tough areas but they are not close to the central business district or any of the neighborhoods along the river. They are small and the city is trying very hard to improve them. EVERY city has poverty. I have lived all over the country and if you think this is bad then move to West Palm Beach in Florida. This is about 1.5 miles from Palm Beach and completely ghetto with hookers and dealers on the street in some parts.

Downtown Harrisburg is beautiful, safe, with amazing cultural amenities for a small city and some very nice, affluent neighborhoods. I guess you have never been to Shipoke or taken a walk along Front Street. I have never seen a small city as beautiful as Harrisburg. Where can you find a mile-wide river with a riverfront park, bluffs across the river with beautiful homes, mountains, active nightlife, affordable housing in good school districts, and good jobs with a few Fortune 500 headquarters.

phlwrestle was only repeating the spelling that Chelsea used (Carlise rather than Carlisle) - and making a quite amusing joke about it - carlise - car lice - bugs that live in your vehicle - get it?
