Hi there.
I'm a single female from NYC and I signed up with a company that assigned me to York, PA for a month. I'm clueless about where to stay (a hotel?) and how to get a car rental? If I even can since I don't own a car. My current address assigned is 351 Loucks Road Ste E4 York, PA 17404.
Absolutely any help would be appreciated!!

Here's the link to the local Craigslist- craigslist: york, PA classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events For a month, I would think your company would have you stay in a long term hotel like Residence Inn. Good luck!

watch out for the inner city of york its dangerous, such as S. Queen St, Philadelphia, Princess, there has been alot of violence and shootings in recent time, I lived in York PA my whole life up until 2 yrs ago and i loved it its a great town its not huge like NYC and its not small where u have to drive forever to get to any necessary places, they have a bus system which pretty much goes anywhere, and there are hotels in the vicinity of Loucks rd that have weekly rates, Luckily on Loucks Rd your close to all the hotels, stores, even car rental places. Enjoy your stay

Hi, I am interested in the York area myself and i found this link and get magazines quarterly on the area....look at www.inyork.com i find everything i need there. I find it to be a quaint family town, with plenty of shopping to do. When I go back to visit, there is a niice Mall in East York and hotel right there. I just can't think of the name of it, 17402 area code, but 17404 is not far at all, right down the street. That hotel would keep you close to resturants and shopping for your convience. Then on Market St, right next to a donut shop is a small family owned rental car place. You can also find things through the City guide. www.yorkcity.org
Good Luck to you....from California. I visit family there
